Privacy Policy
This explains what information DriveBloc collects when you use this website, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details you give us when you sign up: your name, email address, and optionally your phone number and city. Your password is stored in a scrambled form that we cannot read.
- Enquiries you send: your name, phone number, and any email, city and message you include, together with the car or dealer you asked about.
- When you ask to see a best price or an expected saving: your name and mobile number, and the car or group it was for.
- Cars you submit for sale: the car's details, photos, and your registration number if you provide it.
- The buying groups you join and whether you accepted or declined an offer.
- Reviews you write and the cars you save.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiries, call-back requests and test drive bookings.
- When you ask to see a best price or an expected saving, our team may contact you on that number, by call or WhatsApp, about offers for that car.
- To review and follow up on cars you submit for sale.
- To send emails you have asked for or that relate to your account, such as a password reset link, or a notice that a car you saved has dropped in price.
- To keep the website secure and working, for example by limiting repeated sign-in attempts.
What is shown publicly
- Reviews you write are shown with your name and city.
- If a car you submit is approved, its details and photos are shown. Your phone number, email address and registration number are never shown publicly.
Who we share it with
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We use service providers to run the website: hosting, a database, and an email delivery service. They process information only to provide those services to us.
- When you enquire about a car or a dealer, we may pass your contact details to the relevant dealer or seller so they can respond.
- When you accept a group offer, we pass your name and phone number to the dealer who made it, so the purchase can go ahead. Other members of a group cannot see who you are.
- We may disclose information when the law requires it.
Storage in your browser
- When you sign in, your browser stores a sign-in token so you stay logged in. Signing out removes it.
- Your browser also remembers cars you recently viewed and an unfinished sell-your-car form. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.
- We do not use advertising cookies.
Your choices
- You can view and change your name, phone, city and password under My Account.
- You can ask us to correct or delete your information by writing to support@drivebloc.com.
